    We ask the questions that matter: the people wearing it, the brand rules, the budget range, the occasion.

    We design and sample

    Concepts, colour matching and mock-ups first. Then physical samples you can hold, wear and approve.

    Embroidery, print, patches and hand-finished details, with quality checks before anything is packed.

    We deliver

    Packed, labelled and ready for the event, the office or the courier. Then we check in to hear how it landed.

Who we are

Johannesburg-based since 2003.

We've been dressing brands since flip phones were cool.

We're Kugzulu Corporation, a Johannesburg studio that researches, designs, brands, sources and makes custom merchandise and apparel for South African corporates.

Every collection is designed and coordinated from our Johannesburg studio. We source the right base garments and products for the job, then brand and finish them: embroidery, print, patches and hand-finished details, with quality checks before anything is packed. Your proposal spells out where each piece is sourced and finished, so you're never guessing.

Our buyers are brand managers, marketing teams and procurement people who are tired of merch that ends up in a drawer. We design for the people who wear it, so it gets worn.

Everything you need to know before you brief us: samples, artwork, what to send and where we are.

OrderingWhat should we include in a brief?

Who it's for, what the occasion is, roughly how many people, your date, and any brand guidelines or artwork you already have. If you only have a rough idea and a deadline, send that. We'll shape the rest with you.

ProductionCan we see samples before production?

Yes. You'll get concepts, colour matching and mock-ups first, then physical samples to approve before anything goes into production.

BrandWhat artwork files do you need?

Vector logos (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) are best for embroidery and print. Send your brand colours as Pantone or CMYK references if you have them. If all you have is a PNG, send it anyway and we'll advise.

BrandDo you design it, or do we bring artwork?

Either. Our creative team can design from scratch around your brand, or work from your existing artwork and guidelines.

OrderingHow do minimums, lead times and pricing work?

They depend on the piece, the finish and the quantity. Embroidery, print and knitwear all work differently. Share your numbers and your date in the brief and we'll come back with the right route and a clear quote.

ProductionDo you offer unisex and inclusive sizing?

Yes. Unisex cuts and inclusive sizing are standard in how we design collections.
